This is the first time i ever work for a event company, its quite shitty n the pay is quite low too, but anyhow the experiece is quite nice cz get to learn some new things in the process.
First day of work...
As usual whenever there is Simon around, i'll sure be late. ok v r late to work on our first day bcz v need to wait for Simon's mom to come bak to take care of the two babies his mom taking care of, thats one of the reason y v r late another reasons is that v nd to send Ashtin bak to klang to pack his things.
V reach there at I-City at about 4 something almost 5, although v r late but there is ntg much for us to do also if v reach there earlier. V reach there n begin our job to set up the things for the nite. V partimers is like a multipurpose workers that is worst den the "pekerja asing" v need to do everything n being kick here n there, as first they told us that v nd to take care of the game booth oni wen v sign up for this job but then wen v reach there, v r like a ball being kick here and there do this n that, its frustrated doin this kind of job lor.
Ok lets talk bout others, lets talk about the championship a lil bit, once again the organizers "blow water" again, at first i asked, how many teams joined, n he replied 80+ in fact there r only 50+ teams less den 60 i wonder how they ever get their business being such dishonest about the truth. Teams that joined in this championship mostly are v Malaysian Malays, n non of them get to go into the quarter finals, how funny, haha, such a disgrace. Teams from China, Singapore and a few other countries joined too which i'm not too sure which country although i've asked bout it, but their words can't be trusted to i wun mentioned it out, hehe.
Teams from China is quite strong as they crushed others teams like they are newby in this game n advance into the game easily, i wonder how long they being playing this. our first day ended with teams advancing to top 16.
Ok event is over, v stayed bak n continue with our kuli job, keeping the computers bak to the store and cleaning the place, yes cleaning the place like a janitor, damn shitty rite. thats y i say low pay, shitty job. Reach home about 3 something n get to sleep about 4. oh ya about the food, they very geng 1 lor, nvr provide food, bring food for us ask us to pay them sumore, haih. i wonder y i ever work for them, in my mind i'm agreed with simon to called it off n stop working for them but i can't get it tru my mind to stop working, haih.
Second day...
Work started at 2 n v reach there on time today, things not goin very well as v r ORDERED to sweep the foor clean the area, pick up rubbish all the work of a janitor, grrrr. ntg much for us to do in the afternoon until about 7. all v do is picking up rubbish n hanging around n snake around. like i say what a SHITTY job. v snaked elsewhere for about half an hour n no one noe, geng rite...v snake our way to the snow walk which is newly open in I-City, n v stayed there cz there gt aircond in the waiting area, ntg much there with only a few snowman and raindeer. there is an arcade center there next to the snow walk too, all the arcade machines there is quite new with a few of them that is nvr being seen in any other arcade center.
Oh ya, hav u heard of human sun shield, i've been one of them for 2 days, stand on the stage n block the sun so that the players can play without the sun affecting their vision.
7 o'clock struck, a few of us is once again ORDERED to do a job which is to giv out vouchers n v r divided in 2 teams. v circled around I-City to giv out vouchers to the ppl so that they can hav some "DISCOUNT" which is not real for some reason, next time get vouchers must REALLY-REALLY look at the TnC. so v circled around n giv vouchers there, like usual v snake around haha, v sit by the large screen showing football n drink our packet drink that v bought nearby, n sit there for about half an hour b4 v resume our job. a very nice place to be where no one else can c us there snaking haha.
After that, v switch to the other team, n things went from bad to super nice, the other team leader is very nice unlike our team leader. our new team leader bring us to a very nice spot where v can snake and giv out the vouchers efficiently n this is the spot where Simon found another one of his gf, within an hour, they oredy exchanged phone numbers and he even noe that after 12 is her birthday lolz, btw her name is Siti.
V celebrated her birthday unformally with some candies v bring along to giv to childrens and a lighter as her birthday candle. v sang birthday song to her n she looks very happy that showed all over her face n a bit shy as this is the first time she celebrate with ppl that she jz meet.
Birthday song sang, birthday celebrated, its time for us to head bak to the event place. wen v reach bak, v had ntg to do but to wait for the last match of the day to end n clean up the area, as usual, v clean up the area n go bak home.
Third day...
Simon ko-ed today, he went bak home n didn't go n work, which left me alone there will about 5 where Ashtin finally arrived lolz. super bored there do ntg jz lay around watch the matches, sit there makan oni, haih. v start to get ready n prepare all the booth at 5 something, n after that sit there again. after awhile laying around ORDERED came in n i hav to go n jaga store for other booth ppl to come n take their stuff, den after that, i've been summoned at the stage to b the human sun shield again haih.
Ok last day, ntg much needed to be done same thing as second day, at nite, giv out coupons again. haha today duno y its not as effective as ytd as the business inside is really-really bad but there is alot of ppl there jz no one buy things inside, those that have business is the ice-cream stall outside. like usual while giving out vouchers, i snake around again. this time nvr rest lar, jz play around with the wild exotic animals that the ppl is promoting where they call ppl to go to their shop to take pic n c those exotic animals. this is the first time where i get to actually hold a snake on my shoulder, its not very heavy but the size is quite big. haha, nice exp i had.
Things go smoothly n a bit of quarrel between us that giv out the vouchers and the team leader, the same guy ytd, but ntg much happen is jz abit of words fight from frustration. at about 10 something, the Dota Championship is officially ended, n the winner is no other than the CCM team from China, they trully deserve the win, non put up a good fight for them tho. i've heard that there is another strong team from China but they are unable to come due to sponsorship problems, i wonder if they come then who will win the championship this time.
Event ended about 11 something, n v started to clean up the area, n dissasemble all the things there. v work till about 2. i get 2 bears from Celcom n everyone jealous of me, haha cz i'm the only one that get to hav two of those bears, i work my butt off for the second bear, n they say y its unfair for me to hav two. sadly i can't get to take a pic with the phyton, that guy say he can giv me take pic wen the event ended but he went missing after that lolz.
